Salary is based on clear and transparent criteria, depending on the type of position:
Academic staff: Determined by your educational background (bachelor’s or master’s degree) and verified years of full-time teaching experience (a maximum of 7 years) in a K-12 school.
Administrative and paraprofessional positions: Based on your experience, English proficiency, and educational background.
ASF also offers a highly competitive benefits and compensation package.

No. ASF will manage your immigration process from the start. We partner with EY, an expert firm in immigration matters, who will guide you step by step.
You’ll just need to attend your scheduled appointments and provide the required documents.You will also receive support in finding housing in Mexico City, assisted by our Human Capital team, a real estate professional, and an ASF colleague who will accompany you through the process.

Yes. ASF has a Welcome Committee made up of bilingual local and international teachers who will help you transition smoothly.
They will reach out to you before your arrival and assist you in getting to know the city, your neighborhood, transportation options, and your new colleagues. -
ASF offers several employment categories:
Local Academic: Teachers, counselors, or librarians who are Mexican nationals or already residing in Mexico.
International Academic: Teachers who relocate to Mexico specifically to work at ASF.
Leadership: Executive, divisional, or academic directors, deans, and certain administrative or academic coordinators.
Administrative(*): Staff who support key areas such as Human Capital, Finance, Communications, Institutional Advancement, Admissions, IT, and Operations.
Paraprofessionals(*): Full-time teaching assistants.
Maintenance(*): Roles focused on facility upkeep, including maintenance, plumbing, electricity, and gardening.
*These positions are available only to Mexican nationals.

Yes. Full-time employees with an indefinite contract receive major medical insurance, either local or international, depending on their employment status.
This coverage ensures access to high-quality hospitals in Mexico and includes emergency coverage abroad. -
No. All employees are required to pay taxes in accordance with Mexican law. ASF automatically withholds the corresponding amount from your monthly paycheck.

All employment contracts, benefits, and working conditions at ASF are governed by the Federal Labor Law of Mexico.
This law applies equally to all ASF employees, regardless of their nationality.
