Lifeguard / Salvavidas
Join ASF as Lifeguard/Salvavidas: ensure water safety, respond to emergencies with CPR/AED, and support daily aquatics operations with professionalism.
We are seeking a vigilant, professional, and highly reliable Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons in and around our aquatics facility. As a key member of our team, you will be the first line of defense in injury prevention, emergency response, and daily facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Surveillance: Maintain continuous, focused patron surveillance and strictly enforce facility rules to prevent injuries and minimize hazards.
Emergency Response: Respond immediately to aquatic emergencies and administer First Aid, CPR, or AED in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan.
Facility Inspections: Perform daily opening/closing duties, routine safety checks, and ensure all rescue equipment and first aid kits are fully stocked and accessible.
Water Chemistry & Logs: Test and accurately record pool water chemistry and temperatures, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns directly to the General Manager of Swimming.
Faculty & Class Support: Assist aquatics and PE faculty with instructional setups and maintain the weekly organization of pool equipment.
Administrative Duties: Complete operational reports (patron use, maintenance) and manage routine tasks like lost-and-found tracking and staff workspace cleanliness.
Readiness & Fitness: Dedicate 1–2 hours per week to mandatory practice to maintain top-tier physical fitness and lifeguarding skills.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Certifications: Must hold a valid, internationally recognized lifeguard certification (including current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications).
Physical Fitness: Must be healthy, physically fit, and fully capable of performing all required water rescue skills and endurance tasks.
Professional Demeanor: Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong reliability, and a professional appearance at all times using the provided lifeguard uniform.
Procedural Compliance: Demonstrated ability to follow strict operational procedures, complete accurate maintenance logs, and work collaboratively within an educational or recreational setting.
